Third Networking Meeting (in Edinburgh)

This meeting was held at The University of Edinburgh on the 27th of February 2024 (16:00-18:00). There were 23 attendees including not only Japanese language teachers across Scotland and current and past students of Japanese Studies degrees at the University of Edinburgh, but also Chair of Japanese Society of Scotland, Education Officer of Modern Languages in Education Scotland, and Japanese government agencies (including Japanese Embassy, Consulate General of Japan in Edinburgh, Japanese Foundation London). Good discussions and information sharing took place to tackle the issues of hindrance to promoting the Japanese language and Japanese culture in Scotland.
